MEET OUR LIGHT WORKERS – MS. DALE AVERY

We sat down with Dale to discuss what truly inspired her to become a Light Worker and what it means to her to be a part of the Dark Night community.
Q1: What inspired you to become a Light Worker?
A1: I was inspired by reading books many years ago by Dr. Wayne Dyer and Louise Hay. They were both pioneers in the energy world. Their philosophy was enlightening and life changing for me, how we can heal with love and light and a positive outlook. Once I read these books I knew I needed to study further… I have been studying Yoga, body balancing and other modalities over the past 15 years It is so amazing how understanding how the body heals and how energy works inspires me and others.
Q2: Your activity is very popular at the Dark Night events, for the people that aren’t sure what it is that you do, what are gratitude jars and what do they represent?
A2: Gratitude jars are simple jars created by you to support your thoughts of what you are grateful for every day. It consists of using images, phrases and quotes from magazines that really symbolize the experiences, feelings and things that represent themselves in that very moment. After selecting the images our guests have the opportunity to glue them on to the jars and take them home to add the moments that they are truly thankful for.
It is becoming very popular at Dark Night because it makes us feel good about ourselves. It’s a lovely social experience to meet new people and connect with like-minded souls. It truly is a magical event and I’m so happy to be a part of it.
Q3: How is showing gratitude helpful when setting intensions?
A3: By setting intentions, it allows us to appreciate ourselves for our powerful strengths and gives us a sense of belonging. Being grateful for the wonderful things we do and the beautiful people we have in our lives makes us more connected to all!
If you haven’t visited Dale’s table at our Dark Night event, make sure to stop by and see what she has waiting for you. If you’re in need of a soul-searching fun exercise to reconnect with yourself, this is the perfect opportunity!
